“I definitely felt a lot of anxiety through the situation because from when the TIA happened to when I had the procedure to close the PFO, I just was really nervous a lot of the time.” 'All I ask is people just be vulnerable and honest,' the 28-year-old told E News. “The biggest thing that I feel, honestly, is that I just feel really relieved that we were able to figure everything out, that we were able to get it closed, that I will be able to move on from this really scary situation and live my life,” she says. Hailey told viewers the entire process was “a really eye-opening thing for me”. Hailey said this test was more accurate than the initial PFO test she did as doctors are able to listen to the bubbles. “They do the bubble test but they listen and if they don’t hear anything, presumably you don’t have a PFO,” she says. To answer this, doctors did a transcranial doppler. “Ladies if you suffer from migraines and you plan on being on birth control pills make sure you tell your doctor - because having a stroke is a potential side effect,” she says.
Particularly around birth control, Hailey has warned other women about potential side effects of the medication.
